Dolce

Updated: Sep 12, 2022

Chelsea has always had an interest and a deep understanding of music, starting at the age of 5 when she started competitive figure skating. Chelsea had always wanted to learn how to DJ after college when she started getting invovled with the local EDM scene in Denver. She started DJ'ing as Dolce in 2015 by learning at a friends house & luckily got quickly connected with a local DJ group at Beta Nightclub which was one of the most well known nightclubs. Dolce's first live gig was 4 months after learning and not having a lot of practice - it wasn't great. She played many local opening gigs at Beta Nightclub and a taco joint where she got a lot of practice. It wasn't until late 2017 where it really took off for her and she became very confident in her DJ skills. Dolce's first major turning point was opening direct support for Mija at Vinyl Nighclub in Denver. Dolce has played several major venues in the Denver area and opened for many acts like Anna Lunoe, Destructo, and Dillon Nathaniel (+more). She got really well known in the local scene through 2019, and then of course the pandemic changed everything. She moved to Texas in 2020 and has been trying to rebrand and start from scratch in DFW. Dolce also started learning how to produce in Ableton starting in 2020 but has since taken a break. She loves to support local DJ's, especially women DJ's who share the passion. She is well known for DJ'ing house music styles, specifically tech house, house, and bass house. Dolce is known to mix dark and light genres of house music together and does not hesitate to throw in some different styles, to paint a story for the crowd. She loves to play music for the world and has a unique perspective to bring to the table.
