Rubi also known as Heather started her DJ career back in November 2021. Music has been a big part of her life. Heather moved to Fort Worth back in April of 2021. New to the EDM seen but always had love for EDM music since she was 15 years old. Being very curious and eager to learned. She started to ask questions about how does one start to DJ. With two really great friends, plus her boyfriend that are DJs themselves, she began to learn. The next few questions that came up where, “What genre should she play and what would be her DJ name?” She decided to play drum and bass due to her love for drum and bass. Her next obstacle was, what would her DJ name be? That one took a long time to come up with but finally decided on Rubi. Ruby is her birthstone and also her favorite color. To make it more unique, she decided to drop the Y and add the I. Rubi developed a passion for Djing. Rubi’s goal as a drum and bass DJ is to be able to take her audience through a journey while feeling the music in their soul. Rubi has played at multiple venues such as, “The Yard, The Move (Haltom Theater and Whiskey Gardens), Bodega all in Fort Worth, Tx. Rubi has also played at the Green Elephant in Dallas, Tx.
